Microsoft 365, with the security settings enabled
Microsoft 365 is often set up in an afternoon and never revisited. Key security settings stay off, former staff keep their licences, and files are shared more widely than intended.
What we configure, and what it prevents
| What we configure | What it prevents |
|---|---|
| Multi-factor sign-in on every account | A stolen password opening someone’s mailbox. |
| Legacy sign-in methods blocked | Attackers bypassing multi-factor sign-in through older email apps. |
| Sharing policies that fit your office | Files shared with anyone who has the link. |
| Licences matched to actual use | Paying for licences no one uses. |
| Mail migrated from your previous system | Lost email and a disorganized cutover. |

Frequently asked questions
- Isn’t Microsoft 365 secure by default?
- Not entirely. Some important protections, such as multi-factor sign-in for every account and blocking legacy sign-in methods, may be off depending on when and how your account was set up. We check and enable them.
- Are we paying for the right licences?
- Often not. Offices keep paying for former staff, or for a higher plan than they need. We review who uses what and recommend changes.
- Can you move our email to Microsoft 365?
- Yes. We plan the migration, copy existing mail, and configure staff computers and phones, so the cutover disrupts as little work as possible.
