Backups validated by real restores
Many offices have backups no one has ever restored. They learn a backup was failing, incomplete or encrypted by ransomware on the day they need it.
What we configure, and what it prevents
| What we configure | What it prevents |
|---|---|
| Backups of servers and critical files | Records lost to a failed disk or a deleted folder. |
| Scheduled test restores | Discovering a broken backup on the day you need it. |
| An isolated copy, separate from your office network | Ransomware encrypting your backups along with everything else. |
| Configuration backups for network equipment | Rebuilding a firewall or switch from scratch after a failure. |
| A documented recovery plan | Confusion over who does what while systems are down. |

How it’s delivered
- We identify what needs protection and how much work you could afford to lose.
- We configure backups and confirm with you exactly where the copies are stored.
- We test restores regularly and keep a record of the results.
- If you lose a file or a system, we restore it and review what happened.
Frequently asked questions
- Where are our backups stored?
- Where your backups are stored is confirmed with you before anything is set up. For offices that hold health or client records, location matters, and we plan around your obligations.
- What is a test restore?
- It means actually recovering files or a whole system from the backup to prove it works. A backup that has never been restored is unverified.
- How often should we back up?
- It depends on how much work you could afford to redo. A busy clinic or firm may need backups several times a day; a quieter office, less often. We set the schedule with you.
- We use cloud software. Do we still need backups?
- Often, yes. Cloud providers keep their service running, but a deleted file, a compromised account or a cancelled subscription can still cost you data. We confirm what your provider covers and close the gaps.
